Most of our seating comes from green woodworking techniques. Most of the pieces come straight from a log. This helps us utilize different moisture contents in the wood to create tighter joinery. Riving the pieces straight from the log ensures the grain of each piece is straight and strong. This enables us to use smaller, thinner pieces in our seating designs.

All of our pieces are built out of solid wood.

Most of our pieces have a hand tool finish to them. You can literally feel the bevels and see the surface quality they give in the finished piece.

We are not a mass-produced shop, most of our pieces are built one at a time, giving our fullest attention to every detail.

We apply most of our finishes by hand.
